Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before getting started with Jobb.

Getting started

Do my customers need to install anything?
No. Customers receive invoices and receipts directly in WhatsApp (or their preferred app). They need nothing extra — not even a Jobb account.
Do I need to use specific commands?
Not at all. The AI understands natural, conversational language — abbreviations, informal phrasing, shorthand amounts like "150 quid" or "2 grand". Just type how you'd text a mate.
Does it work on basic smartphones?
Yes. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use Jobb. No app to download, no account signup form — just send a message to start.
What trades does it work for?
Any service-based business: plumbers, electricians, tailors, painters, mechanics, builders, carpenters, cleaners, caterers — if you do jobs and invoice clients, Jobb works for you.

Payments

How does payment collection work?
When you send an invoice, your customer receives a payment link in the same WhatsApp message. They tap it and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Vipps (Norway), Pay by Bank, or a card — in under 10 seconds, without leaving WhatsApp. You get instant confirmation and a receipt is sent automatically.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Adyen — the same payment infrastructure used by Uber, Microsoft, and eBay. Your data is stored in an encrypted database. Jobb never stores card numbers.
Which payment methods are supported?
In the UK: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank (Open Banking), Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. In Norway: Vipps, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, and Mastercard. More markets and payment methods are being added in 2026–2027.

Data & security

Is my business data safe?
All your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored securely in the cloud, and never shared with third parties. Only you can access your jobs, customers, and invoices.
What if I make a mistake?
Just send a correction. Say "I made a mistake, the amount was 300k not 250k" and AI will update the record. Everything is editable through natural conversation.

Pricing & availability

What does it cost?
Jobb is free during our beta period. Paid plans will be introduced in Q2 2027, with a free tier that stays free. Early users get priority access to the best rates.
Which countries is Jobb available in?
Jobb is live in the United Kingdom and Norway. Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and more are launching in 2027. If your market isn't listed yet, join the waitlist and we'll notify you when it's available.

Channels & future features

What happens when new channels are added?
Your account, customers, jobs, and invoice history carry across automatically. Same AI, different app — no migration needed.
What's coming next?
Quotes & estimates, contracts, scheduling, time tracking, photo attachments, web dashboard, Xero/QuickBooks sync, VAT reports, and recurring billing — all in the roadmap. Join now to get early access as each feature launches.
