Terms of Service
Effective date: March 6, 2026 · Last updated: March 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Jobb, an AI-powered business management tool operated by Jobb (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By sending your first message to our service, you agree to these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the service.
1. The service
Jobb is an AI-powered CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool for skilled tradespeople and service businesses. It allows you to record jobs, create and send PDF invoices, track customer payments, and generate business reports — through messaging apps such as WhatsApp, and in future, Facebook Messenger, Viber, and Telegram.
The service is currently in public beta. This means features may change, downtime may occur without notice, and certain capabilities are still in development. We provide no uptime guarantees or service-level agreements during the beta period.
2. Eligibility
To use Jobb, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid WhatsApp account (or account on a supported channel).
- Use the service for legitimate business purposes only.
- Comply with all applicable laws in your country, including laws regarding invoicing, taxation, and data protection.
3. Your account
Your account is identified by your phone number. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account. Do not share access to your messaging account with unauthorised parties.
There is no separate password or login for Jobb. Security of your account depends on the security of your WhatsApp account. We strongly recommend enabling WhatsApp two-step verification.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Jobb to:
- Create fraudulent invoices or records with the intent to deceive customers or authorities.
- Harass, spam, or send unsolicited messages to customers via the service.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service or its AI.
- Violate any applicable law, including tax laws, consumer protection laws, or data protection regulations.
- Impersonate another person or business.
- Use the service for any purpose other than legitimate business record-keeping, invoicing, and customer management.
5. AI limitations
Jobb uses artificial intelligence to interpret your messages and extract business data. While the AI is designed to be accurate, it may make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing the information the AI records and confirming accuracy before finalising any action (e.g. sending an invoice).
The service always shows you a confirmation step before performing significant actions such as creating invoices or logging payments. You should review these confirmations carefully.
Jobb does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Business reports and summaries are for your own record-keeping convenience and should not be used as a substitute for professional accounting services.
6. Pricing and payment
Jobb is currently free to use during the beta period. We will introduce paid plans in the future. When we do:
- We will notify all users at least 30 days before any free tier changes take effect.
- A free tier will remain available with basic functionality.
- Beta users will receive priority access to the best introductory pricing.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Your data and content
You retain full ownership of the business data you enter into Jobb — your job records, customer information, invoices, and payment records are yours.
By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and transmit your data as necessary to provide the service — including passing message content to AI providers for interpretation (see our Privacy Policy).
You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us through the service or via WhatsApp.
8. Your customers' data
When you provide your customers' phone numbers to send them invoices or receipts, you represent that you have the right to share that information with us and that your customers have consented to receive messages from Jobb on your behalf.
We will only contact your customers to deliver the specific documents you request (invoices, receipts, reminders). We will not market to them or use their information for any other purpose.
9. Intellectual property
The Jobb service, including its name, logo, AI models, software, and design, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.
PDF invoices and receipts generated through the service using your business information are yours to use freely in your business.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate in all cases.
During the beta period in particular, you should maintain your own backup records of important business information and not rely solely on Jobb for critical business decisions.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jobb shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. During the free beta period, this amount is zero, and our liability is limited accordingly.
12. Changes to the service or these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via your connected messaging channel at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.
We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service at any time, particularly during the beta period, without liability to you.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. You can also request deletion of your account by sending a message through the service.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or if we cease to operate the service. In the event of termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
